Founded in 2008 and playing its first NPSL season in 2009, La Crosse Aris is a well-known club throughout the lower league landscape of the upper Midwest and a member of the more-recently formed NPSL North. The club was inspired by its name sake in Thessaloniki Greece, Aris FC
